How AI Is a Game Changer for Software Testing

The emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) continues to transform the technological landscape. Its application in several facets of software development continues to grow. One of the areas of software development where the adoption of AI can advance is software testing.

AI and machine learning (ML) are important areas of ongoing research and development at Parasoft. Our findings continue to bring new and exciting ways to integrate these technologies into our products. This session will discuss several ways we leverage and apply AI and ML.

11 – 11:40 a.m. ET

» Improve the adoption of static analysis with AI-powered software testing.

» Automate unit test generation and parameterization with AI.

» Automate API test generation and maintenance with AI and ML.

» Self-heal the execution of Selenium tests with ML.

Igor Kirilenko, Chief Product Officer; Nathan Jakubiak, Senior Director of Development

Save Time & Improve Quality on the Fast Path for JUnit Testing

Many software developers will agree that, although unit testing is extremely valuable to help find and fix issues in code, it’s time intensive and tedious to design and maintain useful unit tests to cover the entire application. Test automation enables you to save time and effort creating and maintaining meaningful JUnit tests, gain a better understanding of test coverage, and deliver a high-quality application that meets expectations.

This technical session will demonstrate the benefits of unit testing and show you how to capture and centralize JUnit test execution and coverage results within the CI/CD pipeline.

Learn how to:

11:45 a.m. – 12:25 p.m. ET

» Quickly create JUnit tests with mocks and assertions to improve code quality and increase code coverage.

» Identify coverage gaps and analyze key metrics, such as modified code coverage to evaluate the business impact and risk.

» Obtain near-instant feedback to mitigate code changes in the CI/CD pipeline using test impact analysis (TIA).

Brian McGlauflin, Sr. Software Engineer

The Quest for Continuous Testing for Cloud & Web Applications

Watch and learn how to pursue your quest for continuous testing with AI-powered test automation. You no longer need to manually create, execute, and maintain your API tests. Level up and complete your quest smarter and faster.

In this session, you’ll learn how to:

12:30 – 1:10 p.m. ET

» Automatically build your test suite using AI to generate low-code/no-code API tests.

» Easily reuse functional test scenarios for penetration and load testing.

» Create a test environment with simulated backend services.

» Optimize test execution to get faster feedback with every code change.
